Gorgeous assist there, and the 5-hole goal is slick too. ;)

The Maryland State Lacrosse Coaches' Association would like to congratulate the following players on their selections to the respective All-State teams. Selecting All-State honors is a very difficult task taken very seriously by the MSLCA. Through a committee of coaches from throughout the state and after conferring with representatives from throughout Maryland the MSLCA has selected the following teams:

2016 MSLCA FIRST TEAM ALL STATE:

ATTACK LOGAN WISNAUSKAS BOYS' LATIN 2016 SYRACUSE

All-State Teams

He's having a solid year at Maryland. Realize we have a strong attack without him, but was curious to see how he was doing...

Freshmen Logan Wisnauskas led the way for Maryland with three goals and two assists.

Wisnauskas, Stout Defense Lead No. 2 Maryland Past Michigan 13-5

Wisnauskas is doing quite well for the Terps (21g, 5 a on the season).
Thanks for sending him back down to Maryland. I've really enjoyed watching him.

Wisnauskas is a very good player and believe he would have started n excelled here this year . Cuse handled and treated him as good as possible and didn't waste a year for him but he simply wanted to go home and that is tough to overcome. Problem with early recruiting is that most won't sit on an opportunity at a top program at the time but its not necessarily their truest hope. We lose kids, we pick up kids but he was a good one

Hard to fault him as he wasn't a guaranteed starter for us and Maryland is home and they graduated 3 starters on attack. The only frustrating thing for me is did he take a commitment we could have offered someone else who would stay and play 4-5 years. But tournabout being FairPlay we have the exact same scenario with Rehfuss sorry Holy Cross we feel your pain.

Completely disagree with this post. If they handled and treated him as good as possible, he would have seen the field last year. I have family friends that know him and he doesn't paint a pretty picture of his time on the hill

agreed lax summit spins from his orange colored glasses. if they handled it properly he would've played A LOT, if not started, and would still be here.
