New court at the Dome next year?

Greeting all,

New member here. I have been lurking on this board for over 5 years, while following the posts here closely for about 2 years. Looking forward to chatting with you all about the glorious Syracuse Orange!

I have been thinking with all the changes the ACC will bring, we will see a new court design? Of course the ACC logo will be new and such, but I am interested on your thoughts if the center court will change too? In the past we have changed it mulitple times. I would like to see a center circle that puts a Block S in the middle of a circle with the actual circle a variation of Orange, White or Blue. They could even go in a different direction and include the New York State outline in center court, much like UNC does with their court. New York's college team would certainly fit the profile. Anyone heard anything ?Thoughts?

Also no chance that the blue curtain comes back, but it would be a welcomed surprise!

I would love to see fresh start with the inaugural ACC season...
Brand new court and uniforms...
But then again, with the crap we have had to put up with from Nike lately(e.g. - silver numerals, non-outlined font that makes our uniforms look like practice jerseys)...

I like the dome court as is for now. No need to redo it yet. BUT as I have said man times, they need to pedestal up the main camera for TV games to get a better angle on the court. Drives me bonkers.

No way. Love how the main angle for TV in the dome is much lower than most courts. Hate the stadiums where the view is too high. Like your looking straight down on the court. Ohio St is one example that comes to mind

I am on a one man crusade to change our home uniforms to ORANGE. There has to be some sort of waiver that will allow it. Such a world of difference from home white to road orange. Hell maybe even home fans will get the hint and dress in team colors.

im all for that too, but it will never happen.

the cnyers are embarrassed of our school color.

they prefer the blue and grey.

and since they admitedly make up a majority of the attendence, we dont want to upset the one horse again. :noidea:

I would like a combo of the two preceding this. The piping on the sides from the late 70s and the script "Syracuse" from the late 80s. The orange unis from the late 70s look sweet.

Surprised we only have one poster with the name Orangemen in their moniker.

So far, that person has never made a post.

I would love to see someone start a campaign to bring back that time honored name.

Any time I see a national media person write Orangemen or say it out loud, I want to give them a like.
