Born in Tallahassee, went to UCF, coached at UCF for a long time. Yes, he will definitely be our new guy in FLA. Like this hire. Dino gets it. He knows he needs recruiters. But it looks like Fisher can also coach.

FYI, he was the primary recruiter for Gould, who just transferred in from Nebraska. So those two have a pre-existing relationship.

Since he is said to be coaching CBs, I guess this means Chip West is out. Was frankly disappointed with his recruiting efforts but thought he did a good job coaching up a lot of young CBs.

I see this as an upgrade.

Two more hires to go. Hope one has deep ties to NJ/metro NYC and one to metro DC/northern VA. That would be ideal to address remaining weaknesses with our staff coverage right now.

Yes, though the vacancy on offense should probably be called TE/interior WR. The remaining vacancy on defense is for safety coach.

In 5 years he’s had 9 players sign NFL contracts.

According to the all day website, Fisher has recruited 10 four star players to Nebraska. 5 were from Florida, 1 from Georgia and 1 from New Jersey (Gould). The other three were from Arizona and Texas.
