I think Nike has a basic approach and adds little changes to try to create the illusion that the uniforms are team specific.

These grey unis look like our grey unis.

You'll have to understand the difference between a one off and a regular uni. If our home unis were the proper color combo, most wouldn't have a problem with our all gray as a one off.

This is just my opinion, but I feel that Pitt is a school that has gotten the uniform situation right. Simple, classy, consistent with their traditional colors and branding but with a modern fit. It doesn't look they're trying to be pretentious.

Pitt's updated their uniforms since then -- still a great look though.

Ya know how literally everything in the 70s was horribly ugly? Is it possible that we're living through another version of the 70s and we don't realize it? And future generations will look at these tacky uniforms and say, "what were those people thinking?"

I dunno - I'm pretty impartial to the latest trend to have these new & flashy uniforms during the season. I come from the old school thought that a uniform is just that but the marketing departments have taken over. Would prefer the team just focus on the game and not about the cool new uniforms that they will wear on game day.

But, we will all adapt to this. Remember Orangemen --> Orange? Syracuse --> 'Cuse? Seems about normal these days ... (still can't get used to Orange though).

those unis look good because they're red and black which is a bad @ss color combination - oorah Tully Black Knights.

its tough imo to make a cool flashy uni with orange and blue. you'd probably have to go with a base white. nothing else really works.
