UNM won its game lat night without having a double digit scorer. I believe they checked records back to 1966 & this had not happened before during that time period. It had never happened before at the Pit.

I wonder when was the last time this occurred for the Cuse.

Not happened at UNM or anywhere? I would think it would happen frequently at some schools. I would guess its happened in the past 5 years at SU.

Only UNM records checked back to 1966. I would imagine that it would have happened somewhere else in the last 45 years.

I saw this thread, and immediately remembered the Wisc-PSU game from last year. PSU won 36-33 without having a single playing score in double figures.

BOX SCORE

You would probably need two things to happen: 1) a very low scoring game and/or 2) having a deep bench/playing a lot of players.

However, typically in a low scoring game you don't need to play a lot of players, so it would be rare for both of them to happen in the same game.

12/8/62 a player named Schoff led SU in scoring with 9pts, but they lost to PSU. Last time without a non-double digit scorer I could find.

I think the question was "Winning the game without a double digit scorer"

If you went all the way back to 62 just to find a game without a double digit scorer for SU, than it's safe to say we haven't won a game without a double digit scorer in a very, very long time.

You might need to dig up the box scores from those Helms Championship banners at the top of the board to find one.

I would think this happens in the Big 10 at least once a week.
