In addition Davis' actions IMO make it look like a lie. It looks to me like he told Roach a lie, she believed him and called the cops. He then was forced to talk to the cops. Since he was lying he didn't want to provide Fine's name. But at the same time he wanted revenge on Fine for abandoning him. I bet he talked to the cops and said that he was interested in pressing charges. The cop asked when did this happen? Davis told him, and the cop said no charges can be filed because of SOL. Davis then said never mind and hung up.

I find it amazing the air and print time spent on Roach who really has nothing to do with this. In addition who the hell still talks to their ex GF 12 years after they dated? And they lived on opposite sides of the country. Remember this is the early 2000s when text messaging and Facebook where not around. Heck even email wasn't used much.
