New Roof And scoreboard are amazing

It's going to be interesting to hear what the visiting recruits and commits say about the upgrades and how they use the new digital to maybe do some wow factor stuff. Seeing that huge high def hanging in the middle of the field itself should be impressive.

I remember convocation in the Dome to this day wondering how the deans of each school didn’t drop dead on the spot from the heat and their heavy gowns and hats.

Nobody better complain next fall that’s it’s too cold in the Dome!!!
Things about which I will continue to complain:

1. Congested concourses
2. Lack of legroom (i.e., having to stand-up every time anyone in my row decides to go to or return from the bathroom or concession stand)
3. Central New York fat-a$ses who take-up more than their allocated bleacher-spaces
4. Field goals and punts

After not being the dome for the last year, I will have no complaints about anything related to the dome.

just can’t wait to be back.

I have to imagine that the AC will diminish some of our home field advantage. But don't get me wrong, I'm all in favor of adding AC!

Maybe they can isolate the AC to just the stands and keep the field hot. Kind of like how they had a smoking section in restaurants back in the day. Smoke only stayed in that section of the restaurant...

Watching football and basketball games played at the Dome post renovation, I regularly see snippets of reaction from the players as they look up and around at the roof. A lot of 'wows' and 'holy sh#ts' being clearly mouthed, even with the director of the broadcast focusing on the game instead of reactions.

Had a chance to attend a couple of lax games in person the last couple of weeks. The opposing teams openly gawk at things. And you can catch them taking a peek at the big scoreboard when they do something good.

Something to watch for when you are allowed to attend games again next season. Great fun!

To be fair, 30 years ago, I thought everything would look like The Jetsons by now.
A better comp would be a day game from the 80s. I think the hard shell neutralizes the brighter Efte /pfte roof. Mid afternoon games may actually seem darker once the sun angle gets lower. The old bubble didn’t have this caveat.

Interesting point...you probably are right. We'll have to watch and see.

There is more legroom in the 100's. When I have gone downstairs to sit with friends below I can tell the difference over the 300s.

I wonder if the Dome ever made any changes after all the scary issues with the concourse congestion during the 2019 Clemson game, or if it all kind of got lost with the pandemic.
They have made some changes. I think some of the concourse vendors are being moved. Also, the fact there are more bathrooms will help. The test will be Clemson again. I doubt Rutgers get to 38,000.

I sit in the 100's and I still have to stand so the folks who like to drink the tiger piss called beer and go and get them and spill it on me on their return.

If it ever gets spilled on you from the upper deck, the good news is that it will be a better beer. But it wasn’t me.
