As ironic as it might be I think Canada is going to emerge as a pretty good team.
Ironic you say?

Tyler Ennis perhaps? As ironic as it might be I think Canada is going to emerge as a pretty good team. They have a lot of young guys who have potential coming up. Maybe not in 2016, but 2020 they could be a real good team. They'll have their star in Wiggins, good solid players in Anthony Bennett, Tristan Thompson, Ennis, Kabongo, Olynyk, and people I'm forgetting. They have a lot of solid guys in the aau circuit coming up who are getting high major looks. Maybe even our own Rautins and Kris Joseph get spots. Eamon Brennan actually just wrote an article about their potential today on ESPN.
Tyler Ennis perhaps?
Pangos?Pangos is an option.
Gonzaga player Kevin Pangos is a good college player and is Canadian. Gonzaga recruits Canada well. I think Pangos is a good bet for the team.Pangos?
Tyler Ennis perhaps?
I don't know how I missed that. I've been doing that a lot lately.I don't get it, I mentioned Ennis. I think he's definitely got a legit chance to be a key player on that team in the future.
Canada is going to be a team in that second tier in the near future at the last qualifying tournament they only had 2 NBA players their Rautins and Joel Anthony. Leo Rautins didn't callup Tristan Thompson.
I don't get the potshots about losing to Panama. The USA Olympic team has gotten housed by Italy in 2004, Argentina 2002, and Puerto Rico in 2004 as well as the lost to Greece in 2010.
Canada projected roster for the 2014 FIBA World Cup IMO
PG- Corey Joseph, Myck Kabango, Tyler Ennis
SG- Andrew Wiggins, Brady Hesslip,
SF- Tristan Thompson, Andrew Nicholson, Kyle Wiltjer
PF- Anthony Bennett. Khem Birch
C- Kelly Olynyk, Joel Anthony
