They certainly weren't doing that after two years. Baylor also happened to recruit a future heisman winner in RGIII in year 1, which helped recruiting, and, of course, being in Texas and in close proximity to elite recruits. Syracuse is probably never going to go toe to toe with any school in the country - at least so long as Syracuse is located in upstate NY - but that's ok. We don't need to in order to have success.
