And well beyond, correct.I'm excited to see the expanded west shore trail. I run on the current trail often, but it just ends before you can get any real views. I am assuming this trail goes over that new bridge they put in over nine mile creek.
Agree, it is going to be really noisy and unpleasant on most of the new section of the trail that is being opened. But it is great to be one step closer to getting the trail completed all the rest around the lake. That will be a great day, if/when it happens. The extension's a great step. Unfortunate that the county removed so many trees between the expressway and the new trail, but this is an improvement. Hope the opening event gets a good turnout.

I noticed they planted some new trees where there were trees removed, but they are currently underwater.

On that subject, I am hopeful the powers that be choose option 1 or option 2 as the path to complete the trail around the lake. It was be a big mistake to route it on city roads and would great affect the ultimate usage, popularity and safety of the trail.
What Next? How Best to Complete the Trail?
