Smith, who made a verbal commitment to FCS school Youngstown State last summer, recently re-opened his recruiting after sixth-year Penguins coach Eric Wolford was fired in the wake of a 7-5 season. “It’s pretty undecided,” Smith said of the situation. “Now I’m just talking to more schools. Now I get to have fun with the whole recruiting process. I’m upset that he (Wolford) got fired. But I’m ecstatic about the recruiting process and the official visits and coaches coming to see me.”
