New York Giants should hire ...

If the Giants hire Spagnuolo then my Presidential year every 4 years Super Bowl bet of Giants vs. Patriots could actually happen in Feb. 2016.

If the Giants have cap space Suh has to be their target and then spend all the draft on OL.

the giants are about 17 million under the cap next year. The cap is expected to be about 140 million. The Giants also have decisions to make on some of their own players.

RE: The Salary Cap.

I am all for getting rid of it.

wont happen. (where have i said that before??)

mike nolan is rumored.

would LOVE suh.

then draft an OT, push Pugh inside and the OL goes Beatty, Schwartz, Richburgh, Pugh, #1 pick.

Mike Nolan. The Falcons DC. You gotta be kidding me. Their defense sucked.

Giants have weapons on offense, obviously you guys need OL help. Traditionally the NYG have done well when they only have to rush 4 and can play coverage with 7. The NYG DL did not impress me this year thus I would invest in Suh without the dirty stuff he plays like a NYG DL and then you spend the draft on OL.

I have no idea whom your top FAs are, but signing Suh is all about the guaranteed money and doesn't necessarily mean a high cap hit next year. In the top 10 you guys will likely be able to get a pretty good LT.

hes got ties.

im against it.

ill take schwartz from buffalo.

bills coordinators seem to work out well for the Giants.

I would also love to see a guy with no ties. A guy who can just flat out coach. Al Holcomb I would love to see either as DC or LB Coach. Would love to see Spags back because I don't see schwartz as buffalo denied the skins permission last week. Above all else find a guy who can stop or at least slow down up-tempo teams as that is where the league is and will be for a while.

Suh to the NYG would mean bye bye Rolle & JPP. Maybe they could get JPP and Suh but you're talking a King's Ransom for Suh.

to me the best choices are Schwartz or Fangio

that said, I've been beating my Muschamp drum around the interwebs

flip the guards. Schwartz is already a top flight RG. [homergoggles] Pugh can be an all-pro LG [/homergoggles]

plus if we get Suh (which I'll have a hard time explaining to my 5 year old who already knows he's a dick) and resign JPP our 2 deep on the D line will be beast mode

JPP-Hank-Suh-Monster
Ayres-Bromley-Jenkins-Wynn

I'd go to war with that, our CBs, a newly drafted LB and high end FA S

JPP has said he would love to stay with the Giants, but wants to be the highest paid DE in the NFL, which right now, is J.J. Watt @ over $16,000,000 total cash in 2014. JPP is ranked 40th in total cash in 2014 for defensive ends @ 3,216,000 in 2014. Don't think staying in NY and getting Suh is possible.

I wonder if Scott Schaeffer would take a DC job in NY if they offered. That may benefit the Giants and the Orange

JPP doesn't deserve that money, good luck to him trying to get it. He has been disappointing for a few years, but did bounce back a bit this year.

Yeah, even if they franchised JPP, he would still cost them between $14-$15M.
