I’m more of a look forward guy, especially when I don’t have to watch film and correct it.

This will not be a deeply analytical post.

The next four games are all winnable games. I saw enough yesterday to be confident in the fact that we should be competitive in all of them.

This is the stretch that will determine our season. If the offense can get right, we will be fine.

Need to get some momentum headed into that juggernaut Clemson.

I think UNC is a bit overrated and Pitt is a bit underrated. They aren't all that different caliber of team. The three after that we really should win. If we take care of business at home we could end up 6-5. But we have zero margin for error.

Agreed - Narduzzi will try to pound the rock down our throats. I really liked what I saw from Tony White yesterday. Hopefully it continues.

Pitt will be favored by double digits. I don't think it's winnable.
The first winnable game comes vs. Georgia Tech which was made to look competitive by a Florida State program that's in need of a purge the same way Marrone did to Robinson's recruits when he got there.

Duke and Liberty are also winnable. I think both will be close and given their difficulties against UNC, I won't be shocked by anything that happens.

I had thought we’d be a 5 or 6 win team given our revised schedule. After yesterday, I didn’t see much out of the offense to think we can get even 2 wins. I was encouraged by the D. I’m encouraged we have some good O line recruits committed plus Bleich but that isn’t going to help us this year. If they start designing runs for Tommy maybe we can squeak out 3-4 wins but he may also get his head taken off. Either way, I’m in for the long haul.

My thoughts on Pitt.

Their defense is considerably better than UNC’s, and probably the best unit we’ll face aside from Notre Dame all year.

Their offense though, if our defense comes out and sets the tone physically again, I do not think they have the guns to respond as well as Howell and Williams did in the second half.

We need to throw our D a bone. Get 14 to 21 on the board up before half and we can win any game. This defense will not let up if we’re in it.

Which means Pitt game will be a redux of that 76-61 game

if we get over 35 points vs Pitt then I’ll genuinely not know What happened vs UNC or games like Clemson/NC State/Maryland last year.

I’m thinking more like a 28-24 close game that comes down to a fourth quarter stand. Our O needs to give the D a cushion. I don’t know if we can though without establishing a run game. Really worried here.

I can’t believe people think we should best GT and Duke. Did anyone watch them play yesterday? They are both at least two touchdowns better than SU. I don’t think this offense is even capable of scoring two touchdowns. We better hope our defense or special teams can score because the offense on the field yesterday isnt capable of putting many points on the board. Please tell me one strength on of offensive side of the ball? Oline? Backs? Receivers? QB?

Until the guards are replaced and the offensive game plan changes, we aren't winning a game. Not holding my breath.
