Since 1901 we are 133 and 15 in the month of November for a winning percent of .899.. (90%). This year we play six games in Nov.

Of course the easy thing to say is we'll go 6-0! But is that realistic? We'll be going up against some pretty good teams this Nov. with our 1st tough game coming against the Bonnies on Nov. 17th. I think we have too much overall height for them though and we should prevail, but the game will be very close, closer than many expect.

Then it's on to Paradise Island where we will no doubt have three difficult games. I think we'll get by Charlotte, then face Uconn (ranked in top 25 by the AP and coaches poll) but I think they are way over rated and we'll beat them by 10. Unfortunately, I thing we drop our 1st game against Texas A&M by about 12-15 as they are solid. Our only loss in November. Thoughts?

Here is the Battle 4 Atlantis bracket:

Teams that jumpshoot well early in the season do well, and teams that jumpshoot great early in the season do great. Syracuse Is one or the other but does great early on when it is neither.

6-0. It's realistic.

a) UConn and Michigan are both beatable. Neither is easy and we clearly wouldn't be the favorite, but neither team has enough firepower to run us out of the gym and we're going to be one of those teams that could get hot from deep and beat anybody.

b) I'll never plan on losing to a Big 12 or SEC team not named Kentucky or Kansas. Our worst season would put us like 5th in either conference.

c) Gonzaga's a mid-major. They can suck it. I don't care if their frontcourt's all 7-footers.
