NFL head injury Documentary-PBS

It was a joint partnership between Frontline and ESPN until the latter pulled away last week. It's supposed to be because the NFL pressured them to do it. The NFL is king right now but this concussion problem could be the reason we see a decline in the next 50 years.

I know a few people who have stopped watching NFL Football the last couple of years because they think the game is too violent.

It's been violent for a long time, but the realization that these guys are seriously hurting each other seems to be a recent factor in their viewership.

I like the game, but the coverage was always a little odd. Repeated replays of a particularly nasty hit? Announcers voices rising in ecstasy when a DB would knock a pass receiver senseless. It was getting borderline weird. But apparently the fans love that?
