The NFC is a very weird conference. Really wide open. I like the Rams but who knows?

Agree about the Rams - they’re the healthiest contender heading into the home stretch.

Goff is their only limiting factor.

(And that could be a severe limitation depending on who they draw.)

Fair point. I think they may have the best defense of the bunch though. Donald can destroy an offense all by himself.

Ben had surgery last year. His arm shouldn’t be shot but it looks like it is.
Steelers offense is so easy to defend.

I think he’s also dealing with a gimpy knee that’s making it tough to throw longer routes.

Bills game plan on D (sitting on the short routes) is exposing it.

It was a travel thing for Al not being there? Amazing he’s still holding strong and quite good. I remember being a young kid sneaking up late to watch Sunday night games and hearing his voice. So distinct.

Buffalo clinched Kansas City the 1 seed last night.
If Pittsburgh goes 14-2 and Kansas City loses to New Orleans and beats Atlanta and LA the Chiefs would still be the 1 seed.

New Orleans needs to beat KC this week and win out and hope Tennessee beats Green Bay.
If NO loses this week then they will fall to the 3 seed most likely as the Seattle-LA winner will likely finish 12-4 and win the tiebreaker with NO.

Al lives in LA. NBC has had a lot of West Coast games this year and they are trying to protect him while also getting use of the fact they have Tirico in the bullpen making a lot of money.

So they have been throwing him some byes this year for Eastern time zone games. Not all of them but some of them to help protect Al from Covid.

its crazy that Tua and Hurts have had such success by doing so little. hurts throws for 160 yds and wins.. But reality is the D won all these games for them so far. What they both have is an ability to run enough it hides the fact they cant do much in the throwing game. tua ended up with a decent game yesterday though late.

I think that's a fair point and the more opposing defenses face them then they'll make it more difficult to thrive. You can't consistently win in the NFL if you can't make most of the throws on the field. I like Tua but he can't make throws outside the hash marks. Hurts is a tough kid with excellent running ability but I doubt he'll ever be a high level passer in the NFL.

They don't run block well nor do they emphasize the run much. They do pass block well though. 260+ consecutive snaps without a sack.

Saints need to try Winston. They also need to practice their hurry up and get Kimara way more involved.

well maybe they should have been a little smarter on defense in the first half and called a couple players better on offense the 2nd half.. that 4th down call in the 4th was just a dumb call and worse execution. didnt help the kicker missed FGs. still had chances to take control of the game late as philly did nothing after the half.

Saints still have an elite defense and honestly playing the NFC championship game in an empty Lambeau would really only affect Brees with the weather but if they were in the Dome Rodgers would get the Dome as well.
Green Bay may have play to Tampa in the divisional round as the 1 seed.
New Orleans is tailored to play TB not GB.

The Saints should be fine every team has a brain fart game. Yesterday was NO brain fart game.

Rams-Saints healthy would scare me more than Green Bay or Tampa.

The Bills have to be careful over this three game stretch @ SF, Pit, @ Den with the Dolphins nipping at their heels. Even though SF and Den both have losing records, the Niners are 1 point favorites and it's always tricky playing at Mile High.

Saints aren't trying Winston. Hill is better. We saw that against San Fran.

I always had Buffalo beating Pittsburgh. I think the toughest game in that stretch was always Denver.
