If. Michigan State went to the Orange Bowl the ACC would have taken the. B1G bid to the Capital One Bowl.

That crap annoyed me how the did Miss State pass Michigan State. Tom Osborne and Barry Alaverz to the rescue.

The Bulldogs deserved to be ahead of the Spartans last week, imho. They have two wins over teams that finished in Top 25 while both have 2 losses to teams that finished in the Top 10.

I more curious about the egregious error of last week's standings versus the correction that was made this week. Perhaps it's due to when the Bulldogs had that 2nd loss?

Still, everything worked out fine for the SEC, BiG, and PAC while things were a bit shaky for the ACC (perception of FSU, not getting the Citrus) and bad for the B12.

Mississippi State jumping Michigan State makes sense. Michigan State beat absolutely nobody. They played two good teams and got waxed. They beat a Nebraska team who also didn't beat anyone good. That Mississippi State-Georgia Tech match-up will be a great watch.
