This has been going on for a while. When Syracuse basketball played at Stanford and Cal last year, the NIL team flew out with the basketball team to San Fran then immediately took a jet down to LA and San Diego to meet with donors.

The NIL team is currently understaffed but are doing a great job, especially after a 3-9 football season.

If that happens and we get real financial backing, paired with the way Fran knows how to recruit, this program could take a major leap forward—similar to what we’ve seen with Indiana, Ole Miss, or even the resurgence of Miami.
