Bryant university. 6'2 190 freshman played one season. Stats above.

Bryant is a young program that plays low major and is terrible. Why would we pursue?

Because the kid can play.

Just because you play at a lower level doesn't mean you aren't good. Look at what Rodney Pryor did this year at Georgetown? He played in the same league.

How about Marcquise Reed at Clemson? Averaged 10 ppg after playing in the same league. And Reed/Pryor didn't average 20 a game.

Right but those are low major programs. They can afford to use a spot on this kid. We need kids that can play this season, and I doubt he's better than any of our 2018 targets, so why have him transfer in when you can get a freshman that is better?

We barely beat Clemson. Lost to Georgetown. They had good players for "low majors".

Look at Xavier - they have a kid from Florida A&M starting and playing 28 minutes a game for them. They're in the Elite 8. Are they a low major, too? Or a mid major?

Good players are good players. It makes no difference where they are. Kids get over looked all the time.

I can almost guarantee you if you put together an all-star team from the Northeast Conference, they'd be able to play against teams that are ranked 25-75 in the RPI. And might even be able to play at a higher level than that.

The Player of the Year in the league could have absolutely played for us last year, and been a big contributor.
