OkHow about scoring 20 one time the entire months of October and November?

NoExactly. Now every year is a rebuilding year.
Was thinking same thing. Mack too. Angelli? Clement? Also the safety that got hurt early from Buffalo. Does he get another year from injury Grant?A little premature to dismiss the entire team and who evolves as team leaders. I think those leaders emerge during winter workouts and spring practice. Just for fun, here is one name - Rashard Perry.
And we will again next year and the year after and the year after...It isn’t an approach but reality. We have too much going on to expect better than 7-5.
And leaders aren't always the stars. Franklin was a captain for the Colts when he was a special teamer. There could be guys we haven't heard of that will be leaders next year, and nobody outside the locker room will know it.A little premature to dismiss the entire team and who evolves as team leaders. My point is and always has been if we don’t know who the 4th and 5th year senior leaders are right now then you probably don’t have that special core unlike 2012,18, 24.And leaders aren't always the stars. No
Ugh, here we go again. Does anyone think that Fran isn't gearing up for a run in 2026? He demoted (fired) his best friend. He knows 2026 has to be special. He is going to kill it in the portal and we are going to have a HUGE bounceback year in 2026.
It’s been said for 25 yearsThat’s what we said about last year.
LOL you were always good at mathEveryone has been saying 2026, but I’ve been saying 2030. I know a pattern when I see one.
I understand your point. My point is that yours is not necessarily accurate. We aren't in the locker room. We're not in the coaches offices. Fans won't always know who the leaders are when they aren't the stars of the team. It doesn't mean they aren't there, and there is no reason they can't be something other than seniors. A third year guy can lead just as well as a fourth or fifth year guy. Our special core in '24 included guys that weren't on the team in '23. Who knew Meeks was going to be one?My point is and always has been if we don’t know who the 4th and 5th year senior leaders are right now then you probably don’t have that special core unlike 2012,18, 24.
And he fits an attacking defense better then just try to contain your man of the past 2 years.A little premature to dismiss the entire team and who evolves as team leaders. I think those leaders emerge during winter workouts and spring practice. Just for fun, here is one name - Rashard Perry.

Yeah that won’t fly. Fran has one more year imoI was told 2025 was a rebuilding year for 2026
Who “stepped up “this year? I don’t think this is as easy as many think it is or as coach’s like to tell you it isWe have no idea who is going to step up to be leaders. Every year players graduate and others step up.
Angeli is a leader you saw it every interview and on the field. Never thought Ricky was a leader. I suspect there will be a number of leaders on this team. They may not all be seniors but you can see potential leaders in a number of players.
Concerning record. Yes last season was a dumpster fire and it was very disappointing Nixon would not change the O. However we have no idea how next season goes. We have no idea with the portal, freshman or who takes a step up. We don’t know the new coaches Impact or what other teams will be like. Like all things we will have to wait and see and trust Fran learned from this season.
That's probably closer to reality than we like. But we can't change it. There will always be "too much going on." That's the reality of college football now. The only semblance of stability is the head coach, and he better have a plan to retool annually. Things broke right in '24 with "too much going on" and maybe they will next year too. The thing is, if we have to plan for 2 years out, we'll always be planning for 2 years out. After next season, there will be reasons to find without looking all that hard for why 2027 won't be the year, but 2028 will. That is what we are as a program. We are looking at 7-5 as the typical season. Every year is next year is our year. If things break right we can go 9-3. If things break wrong we can go 5-7.
One more year to do what?Yeah that won’t fly. Fran has one more year imo

A number of the seniors that were leading the team were 1 year trsfs. A number of other impact guys were younger. We need to see who comes via the portal before we know anything.2024 we had a bunch of SRs and a favorable schedule. We need those IMO to have a breakthrough season. Neither of those are true next year. They can be in 27.

LQA was a Jr.We had a few SR adds but we also had LQA, Gadsden, Reed, Bradford, Petry, Barron, Wax, Clark. Plus a bunch of JRs too.
