Heyward did very poorly in the NBA, but that doesn't necessarily mean he wasn't a good scorer in college. Not sure I would call him polished, necessarily. His offensive numbers as a senior were pretty similar to what KJ did last year, and Heyward played a much larger role in the offense.

But yeah, Kris could be a late first round pick, and still basically contribute nothing to an NBA team.

I don't think anyone here will say that he can be a shoo-in in the first round. It's not beyond the realm of possibility that he can be taken there after a successful SR season at SU. Not everyone in the first round is Anthony Davis. There are a lot of picks to be made. Rautins was a handful of picks away from the first round. Not many expected him to be drafted, even before pick #50 and he went 38th.

An NBA 3 does not usually have a post game. It doesn't matter. Getting to the hoop in the NBA is very important. I'm not taking any side, just commenting.

Of course they don't, because Lazar Heyward can post up and miss layups, take and miss the vast majority of his jumpers, he is better than Kris Joseph. Got it. Agree to disagree. I don't think he's near where I think you think he needs to be to get into the first round. I'm just not counting him out based on how many silly picks there have been in the 1st round in the past.

I never said that, but there's an obvious flaw in your claiming that Lazar Hayward, someone who's killing it with under 4 points per game, shooting under 40%, a beastly 1.7 rebounds, an unselfish .7 assists per game, some smothering D, garnering .3 steals per game and .2 blocks, is clearly, CLEARLY a better NBA player than KJ could ever possibly be. Which is why he found minimal time in only 42 games last year on one of the easiest teams to get PT on, the T'Wolves. Get a grip. So polished.

This is the site I've typically looked at for NBA Draft stuff. Not sure how in depth it is, but take it as another source. They have Kris at 25.
