Haven't watched his tape but hudl has him listed as a G/DE (don't know why the G is bolded, maybe its his primary position) but you would think with his length he would've been placed as a tackle, not gaurd? Ecspecially at the highschool level. Am I wrong in my thinking? What did his tape indicate? Better suited as a guard? I'd look at the tape myself but I have two tests today and just pulled an all nighter sooooo I don't wanna lol...

The majority of the tape was him as a DE and he talks about playing DE in college in an interview i read somewhere else. So i think that's what he's being recruited for. Don't know what the coaches think though.

i don't know, but it must be good. i know what they have going against them. HC with 1 foot out the door. No matter how good yourecruit the lack of scholarships will catch up to you = losses. No bowl ban. I know if I was choosing I wouldn't even begin to consider them unless I was being paid quite nicely...

I was thinking they are telling them the NCAA ban will be lifted before the end of 4 years. Another possibility is they are bulking up on in-state kids who pay their own way to get around the scholarship limits.

could be about the bowl ban, but as far as paying their own way I just can't see it with some of the high end guys they have verbals from already. it's almost a minor miracle what O'Brien is pulling off.

In state PSU tuition is cheap and I'm sure they can get all of those guys scholarship money by other means so they pay $0 and just walk on. To your 2nd point, I'm curious if the NCAA "watchdogs" pay any attention to what bene's walk ons might get.

BOB could be an NFL HC right now if he wanted to. Definitely not one foot out the door.
