I watched specifically for this.. They never even made EYE CONTACT. Seriously I doubt Noel is coming here based on what I saw today.

He sat there emotionless like a statue and DC2 was literally 1 person away from him. No talking, no looking, nothing. very odd.

I watched as well and u basically agree, BUT they did shake hands and exchange some type of words when the game ended and DC was leaving.

Yes, Ennis sat between DC2 and Noel. Ennis walked in with DC2 and talked with him during the game. BTW, from a distance, Ennis looks like Alec Lemon.

they weren't talking because they were texting to each other. actually all 3 were. they were throwing high fives via text msgs the whole game. dun u git it?

I think people are reading entirely too much into every little thing Noel did or did not do while at the Dome today. I saw him leaning up against a post when I first came in. No one else around me knew who he was at the time. That changed once he got to his seat and everyone was pointing out who he was. I walked up to him and told him he would look great in Orange and we'd love to have you at the 'Cuse and shook his hand. No doubt in my mind that I sealed the deal for us with that interaction

After the game he was signing autographs and posing for pics all over the place. He seemed to warm up to people through the course of the game. He took particular joy in taking pics and signing autographs for little kids. I took a picture standing between him and Goodluck. I'm 6'1 and I looked like a little kid compared to those 2 As someone above mentioned, he did shake hands with DC2 after the game - I took nothing from their perceived lack of interaction. It would be exciting to get him.

How did DC and Ennis' reactions to the game compare to Noel's? I mean, were DC/Ennis all into it and cheering/smiling? Was Goodluck? I sort of have the feeling that a recruit isn't usually going to be jumping all wild during the game, but would want to keep a cool image... Since we know DC is coming to cuse, he's a good comparison unless he is pissed that he thinks JB is already recruiting over him?

Did DC seem like he was into the game? But then he knows all the the SU players- especially Brandon- and wants them to do well. Other than MCW, Noel probably hardly knows the other players and frankly isn't interested in the outcome of the game. The fact that a teenager attends an event such as a game or a movie and spends his time texting on a cell phone rather than focusing on the event is hardly unusual. Also, it could be that while Noel likes playing basketball, he might not be a basketball fan who likes watching games.

By the way, is DC2 a sociable guy who likes to shmooze? Maybe he's shy and feels uncomfortable speaking to people who he doesn't know. I'm sure if Hop, MCW, or Scoop sat next to Noel, they'd be talking to him.

If Noel commits to "Cuse, it'll be because he like MCW and Hop, feels comfortable playing at the Dome, thinks that he'll get substantial playing time and won't be backing up Melo if Melo stays, and believes that SU will have
a very good team next year. It will not because of what kind of relationship he has with DC2.

It probably did not help to see his friend MCW get all of about one minute PT & then get pulled never to return. Not to mention if MCW got into it w JB as mentioned in another thread. Sounds like he will not be coming here. We probably just fell to third behind the Caliparis & the Friars. Hopefully, it went well w Ennis.

you're sorely mistaken if you think a couple exchanged words b/w MCW and JB ruin our chance at Noel

If Noel comes to Syracuse he is the starting 4 no matter who leaves or stays. Wishful thinking would be starters Triche, Waiters, Fair, Noel, Melo. However I'd lean towards this as a realistic lineup if he comes...Carter-Williams, Triche, Fair, Noel, Christmas or Coleman
