He is up to 28 after tonight. The last person to have a 30+ hit streak at the age of 23 was Pujols, which is quite the company for the young fellow.

Amazingly, he hasn't even been the best hitter on his own team. Troy Tulowitzki is currently sporting a line of .407/.501/.761 and his other teammate Charlie Blackmon is going off as well. If the Rockies can find some pitching...a HUGE if...they can contend.

Justin Morneau hasn't been half bad for them either. Not a bad place for a hitter to play.

I'm a Rockies fan so its nice to see them have this kind of success. We aren't even at full strength yet offinsively, Cargo is just now starting to get his swing back and the reigning batting champ, Michael Cuddyer is still on the DL.
