Non-football Question; Best Bacon Cheeseburger

OK. That just went on my list.

What style of burger is your preference? Greasy spoon, fancy, flame grilled, pub style (maybe an Artisan bun but nothing overboard) or heart attack special?

ALL can be fantastic.
I like a lot of toppings, and I'll try anything that sounds good on a menu. I find myself drawn to interesting sauces (a flavored BBQ sauce, for example, or a spicy something or other) and a good roll. Some sort of texture, like onion straws, crispy bacon, great pickles, is awesome. One thing I hate is a burger where all the good stuff falls out of the bottom on the first bite. A burger is not meant to need a knife and fork.

But really, one of those foil wrapped school cafeteria burgers can make me happy, too.

The Kappa Corner burger from Beer Belly Deli is pretty good.

Sadly I haven't tried the one at Ale N Angus yet.

Probably al and angus

I second this. I tried the award winning burger, "Hot n' Smokey Candied Bacon Burger," and it didn't disappoint. Probably the best burger I've ever had. Absolutely delicious.

So many great recommendations.
  • Ale n Angus Pub
  • Blarney Stone
  • Evergreen
  • Peachtree
  • Beer Belly Deli
Thanks!
Beer Belly is a hip little place with a great beer selection, too. They have an outdoor seating area in the back.
