I have no problem with what Rob Moore said in theory about the blue chip city kids because it is true in the vast majority of cases.
I go back and forth on whether, as the person on the staff responsible for recruiting that area, he should be making those comments or not publicly. I guess I lean towards no.

What was quoted wasn't even a shot at anyone. He didn't say they were bad players or coaches. He said that a lot of kids think they're too big time for Syracuse and, when they go elsewhere, you never hear from them again. If anything, it was a comment about how other schools don't have a vested interest in them and don't care whether they succeed or not. Ishaq Williams' dad said the exact same thing a couple years ago.
