Hot Take: This might be the year a non P5 wins the title. Gonna start looking at futures for a weird team like St Marys or Fla Atlanticbut a few years ago who would have thought Kentucky/UNC/Florida/Oregon/Wisc would all have been on the same bubble..
For college hoops you can say P6.Hot Take: This might be the year a non P5 wins the title. Gonna start looking at futures for a weird team like St Marys or Fla Atlantic
(I guess Big East is non P5 too...I count them as major)
Houston is 11-1 in quad 1/2 games, we’re 1-7 in those same games.Purdue has the pieces but then you go back and check the schedule,
the ranked games 4.. 2 actually turned out to be decent teams
Duke. not really that good
Ohio St. under .500
Gonz.. nice record. has lost to every good team they played but Alabama
Indiana beat them
Su has done nothing and we have played 4 ranked teams and our ranked game are better than Purdues we just couldnt win the Virg/Miami games we had chances too..
Houston has played 2 ranked teams 1-1. how good are they? they lost to 14-11 temple.
yup metrics say that..Houston is 11-1 in quad 1/2 games, we’re 1-7 in those same games.
Purdue is 13-2 in 1/2 games.
I don’t know what to make of this at all.yup metrics say that..
a quad 1 is beating a top 75 team on the road..
so if they played yale /kent st/sam houston/n texas 15 times they would have 15 quad 1 wins.. would that make you think they are a real good team?
go down the net and see how far you have to get to think about who is a good team?
WV is an avg team they are top 20 net.
if you said purdue was going to lose a road game to Yale/FSU which would shock you more? and FSU is awful.
Kansas is #3. i think they have tons of talent.. they have also played really bad on multiple occasions..
The issue is it used to be teams had to play really well to beat the best teams in a yr.. Now more the top teams play down and get beat, much more inconsistent across the board.
3 pt shooting is some of that.. they take so many of those shots that an inferior team can shoot itself to a win just by volume and Better teams can suffer on off nights..
And yet it’ll likely still be a very recognizable name from a top conference.Hot Take: This might be the year a non P5 wins the title. Gonna start looking at futures for a weird team like St Marys or Fla Atlantic

Houston is top ten in adjusted O and D.
Just saying…
We will be a dangerous team coming off an ACC Tournament title. Look out college basketball.
You could include Ohio St who isn't even on the bubble and is in the middle of an awful stretch. Alot of people calling for Holtman fired after 1 missed tournament.but a few years ago who would have thought Kentucky/UNC/Florida/Oregon/Wisc would all have been on the same bubble..
