Protecting McCord is going to be huge in this game. If they get pressure on him he'll make risky throws, and I'm sure Miami knows this.
Double down on this. Miami’s defense might suck overall but they have athletics on the dline that can easily just run by our tackles and bust thru the interior.Protecting McCord is going to be huge in this game. If they get pressure on him he'll make risky throws, and I'm sure Miami knows this.
I heard on ACC Prime that Miami's secondary is beat up and are an issue for them, but their dline looks scary with the pass rush. Our offensive line is going to have to have the game of their lives. Fortunately we've looked better of late there, well for the most part.Double down on this. I’d expect lots of quick hits, Allen out of the backfield and hopefully establish any semblance of a run game.
If the defense just sits on 5-7 yrd stops and slants…think Pitt. That team wasn’t worried at all about our downfield game and was able to sit on quick hitters
We should be happy we have a big November football game in the dome. It’s been a long time. Miami has given up a boatload of points to a bunch of common opponents. We can win this.
I wish you were kidding. Gonna need to beat Miami AND the refs as per usual, wash rinse and repeat. Crazy thing even with that I still think we can and will best emMiami's defense is not good... but their offense certainly is... Same can be said for Syracuse however.
I don't think ACC refs will allow a Syracuse win unless Clemson and SMU are guaranteed to give the league 2 bids. That said Clemson and SMU donor money >>> Miami so there is a chance if they can buy other refs accordingly.
