but did anyone notice on norton's last made field goal, the 44 yarder, it started to hook left them magically came back right to sneak in the left upright? i sat in the opposite endzone next to the bc fanbase and thought for sure he missed it until it magically curbed back in. i suppose the shape of the football can cause it to move oddly but i like to believe fate stepped in on that one. the easy thing to say is, it doesn't matter because we won by 4 anyways; however, i think being down 1 kept the team in good spirits, even after hunt's int.

YES thank you for mentioning that, kicks shouldn't slice like that inside, it was like roberto carlos's bender ball

that was an all time NOYES moment

The only thing left on the field when all was said and done was a lonely lollipop stick...
ahhhhhh cant wait to get those tools back in the dome when are they coming like 2044

True story... I watched the game from DVR... Could not bring myself to watch the kick in real time as I was sure he would miss it... Fast forwarded through the kick but saw them celebrating after so I rewound to see the kick itself... While watching it I found myself saying why were they celebrating a miss because there is no way that is going to be good... Then like the magic bullet it turned and snuck inside the upright... Devine intervention ? ;)

Thanks to St. Anthony:) who was tightly clenched in my hands the entire second half.

I, too, watched the game on delay because of Thanksgiving travel. I pressed the "jump 30 seconds" button on my remote as the kick left Norton's foot because I was positive he had missed. It was hooking left in a big way before it somehow changed directions and snuck inside the left upright. I only realized he had made the kick after I saw SU kicking off...I then went back and watched in awe as the kick did indeed go in.

My brother and I were sitting right behind the goal post in section 328. From our seats he hooked the ball way to his left (our right) and we both were saying oh stuff as the ball was hooking and then at the last possible second, and I mean last, it just went inside the goal post. Divine intervention? Hey, I believe in miracles.

who's making a gif? I would do it but i would need to a) have the video and b) know how to make a gif and c) have the motivation

i might have it still on the DVR, i'll give it a shot with the shaky crappy cell phone video

Yes, the ESPN3 feed had a very good angle to see the ball change trajectory. In golfers' terms, it was a draw that turned into a fade.

It was uncanny. Maybe that movement is why he always seems to miss wide right from the right hash.

I was thinking Bert Blyleven throwing a whiffle ball.

I guess they had the heat blaring this week. At least on the north side of the stadium.

Is there a grassy knoll in the Dome? B/c I thought I saw a puff of smoke right before that ball shot through the uprights ...
