Not surprised ESPN is making every excuse for KeNITucky

They had a real shot to go undefeated! Whaaaa!

Explain how those are excuses?

16 missed free throws, boat load of stupid turnovers leading to easy baskets, and still had a chance to pull it out against the (now) number one team, with a top coach, with tons of experience.

Are those not facts?

I'm thrilled Kentucky lost, but come on.

Are you kidding? This team was being billed as possibly the greatest of all time. Unacceptable.

Top coach is debatable.

If Kentucky didn't have Julius Randle, they would be terrible. By the end of the year, he could have the Michael Kidd-Gilchrist effect on this team, and that would make me sick.

Oh well I think Cal is a lousy coach.

He's not a lousy coach. He gets those guys to play together and be unselfish. The teams that went to the title game were extremely unselfish and were strong with execution. A good coach also manages egos of all these blue chip recruits.

I didn't hear any excuses being made by ESPN for Kentucky. Just heard from Bilas, Rose, etc. how Mich St. outplayed them.

Good coaches don't get stripped of final 4's. Good coaches play by the rules.

Yeah, I think Cal is a good coach too. I honestly think his recruiting gets in the way of his coaching sometimes. He tries to land the best recruits possible, not the best possible fits for what he does. See last year's team, which had a ton of talent, but didn't match his dribble-drive philosophy at all.

Oh totally. Also, good coaches don't let their starting centers get suspended in March either. Wait a minute..

Good coach doesn't mean good person (in Calipari's case, I mean).
