Not taking the FG opening drive

HE MISSED THE KICK

You weren’t going to run him out there after he just missed it by 5 yards
He didn't follow through on the kick because the whistle

He didn’t kick the ball because of the whistles. I thought that was pretty obvious. I didn’t hate going for it. Needed points to win.

Did you think we would force 4 turnovers on them?
You can't expect it but it happened.

Take the three and only needed three at the end.

Points are points

It was the first drive

It’s not why we lost. The officiating is not why we lost.

We had a comfortable lead and couldn’t capitalize on multiple turnovers. And then Fuentes made an inexcusable mistake. That’s why we lost.

The benefit is if Syracuse converts and scores a touchdown, they are driving to kick the GWFG even with the bad 2nd half performance.

You can't play conservative as an underdog.

Always take points in the first half.
Not taking FG in 1st half have to do with out come. They Blow a 11 point lead . Bad penalties and not capitalize on turnovers

Came back to bite us in the ass.

It would have been 24-27, and we just would have needed a FG to tie.

There’s no FG to take. Andre is the Tyus Battle of kickers with his range

Why did we not go for the 3 points and instead go for it. Could have gotten an early lead. Was there some wind? Should be well within range no?

He was kicking into the wind. First try was short. Perhaps it was short because of the timeout but I think there was a lot of wind. Flags at top of stadium were blowing in on that side quite a bit.
That’s what I surmised. 46 should be well within range for andre
