Not to be a defense lawyer but what does the tape actually prove?

it proves laurie fine slept with the kid. It proves Laurie fine thought bernie was in some sort of relationship, legal or illegal, with the kid. Please, I'm not saying it isn't damning. But I can see Bernie Fine's lawyer saying to Mrs Fine, did you see bernie and whoever having a sexual relationship or did you just believe that they were?

It is a large piece of an awful puzzle but does not in and of itself prove child molestation occurred. It also strongly suggests that Laurie's recent departure from the boys and girls club (or whatever charity it was) was not coincidental. She will never work with children again, that is clear.
