I feel bad for Hunt. By all accounts a great kid. That said, thus injury keeps the staff from being tied to a returning starting QB and it can be a true open competition next year. Might be the best thing for the program, long haul.

I was thinking the same thing. This season seemed to be a lost cause at this point anyway, the way things were going - now we have no excuse not to play for the future and develop some of the younger talent.

It also opens up an opportunity for a kid like AJ Long, that this staff recruited, to get some serious PT this year. We'll be able to get a feel for their ability to recruit QB's for their system. I give them a pass on Wilson and Kimble regardless of their success because Wilson they inherited and Kimble they snagged after being a staff for about a week to close out the 2013 class after Zach Allen bailed.
