Wasn't confident. I picked Maryland on another cuse fan site.

Moral of the story, i thought UMD would beat cuse. I predicted we would beat fsu on here last year, But I knew it wouldn't happen. With nd I am pretty confident.

Team and program have focused on this game for a month and they know they muffed the Maryland game

They usually chirp a lot leading up to a game, but have been relatively quiet this week which to me means they are seriously focused.

They also know that they fudged up big time with Maryland and are now in scramble mode to 'steal' one

ND has been ok ... not top ten like (outside Michigan game, and they are mediocre)

ND has mentioned Stanford as much as Syracuse this week

I just feel so calm and relaxed this week ... like I did during the Louisville and West Virginia games in the past few years

This isnt USC with Barkley and WR's galore
This isnt PSU with Drew Allen as QB

This is an opportunity, and I am confident we see an impressive Syracuse effort tomorrow night

I had a bad feeling last week. I feel much better about this one.

ND doesn't even seem to be aware we're playing this week.

SU plays really well on primetime.

Our defense is looking for redemption and ND's line is not jiving.

Golson seems to be their only true playmaker, and he hasn't been tested.

We're going to be the best team they've played so far.

I like our chances.

This game comes down to redzone efficiency in my opinion.

Somebody is going to walk away empty handed twice in the red zone, 1 missed FG and one TO, and that team will lose.

My guess is that team is SU.

Irish in the redzone 3/5 TD and 2 FGs
Cuse in the redzone 3/6 TDs and 1 FG.

Each team will have one scoring play from outside the redzone

So that makes my score prediction

We will need Hunt to pass for TDs this week, ND will be primarily focused on making Hunt pass the ball in the endzone, and won't let him walk in like the past 2 weeks.
