Notre Dame Predictions...

UNLV (lol) ran all over Notre Dame. Tucker is gonna EAT.

Walt Sweeney - 15
Joe Perkowski - 14

Justice is served.

Salt City : 31
Lotion City : 17

It depends on how healthy we are. If we're healthy...Syracuse 28 ND 10

The talking heads still seem to just make assumptions just looking at the names on the jersey.

Overrated Irish Brand = 17
Underrated Syracuse Brand = 27

Nice one. I was going to do Tim Brown vs Don McPherson because Brown stole (ridiculously got more votes) the Heisman from McPherson.
anyway
Syracuse 27
Notre Dame 23
Seriously. Talk about Notre Dame bias. How do you win the Heisman with these stats. For the season, he averaged 3.5 catches a game for 77 yds. and rushed 3 times for 13 yds. And total for the season he only had 3 receiving TD's and 1 rushing TD. Thats cray cray.

He definitely should not have won, but a big part of it was special teams. He was cray, cray good as a returner... but had no business running back to South Bend with a Heisman.

I have a friend who is an ND alum. He, and many ND fans, are not optimistic about this game. In fact, many ND fans have already turned the page on 2022 and are looking forward to next season when a 5-star QB arrives. My friend has attended a couple of ND games (BYU and UNLV). Some of his observations:
  • Although the ND offensive line is big, they could not control the line of scrimmage against Stanford.
  • The QB is a back-up. Apparently, Killer Kelly did not leave a fully stocked cupboard when he left. This QB is under 6 ft. He is not that accurate a passer and gets worse when pressured. Has a tendency to hold the ball too long.
  • The team's two best wide receivers are out for the season.
Syracuse 34
ND 17

Yep. Brown had a big time punt return on national television. After that it seemed like Brent Musberger (I think) was his biggest Heisman cheerleader.

Also that Jabroni at Holy Cross took some eastern votes away from Donnie

Even though Syracuse won on the football field Heisman voters give ND the victory citing case laws:

HOURNING over BROWN 1956 and BROWN over MCPHERSON 1987. The case law that gave ND the victory was the 1961 ND over SYRACUSE in which even though one team wins the actual game, it can be decided by who you feel should have won the game.

The NCAA agreeing with the ruling then went on to take away 44 wins from Jim Boeheim for each decade he coached for total of 264 wins.

I fear the Clemson hangover and the good version of Notre Dame shows up today

Hannah Storm - 27
Beth Mowins - 20
