Hey Guys,

Just went on stubhub to check out tix for the ND game and the lowest ticket price I saw was $375.00. Am I missing something here? Are there cheaper tickets available?

It’s a ND home game so makes sense. Subway alum will scoop them up at a premium I bet.

Hope someone her offers to buy you tix through SU. I think they are being offered to season ticket holders at the moment

That would be great. If there are any season tix holders out there who can't make the trip, please let me know. Thanks guys

FYI individual tix went on sale yesterday to the general public through SU (not sure why they aren't promoting this). I was able to snag two late last night. Here's the link. I think you may need to have a MyCuse account in order to purchase them (which you can create at the login page if you don't have one).

EDIT: Forgot the link Carrier Dome Tickets

Wasn't there some sort of ticket package being offered a while ago where you could buy tickets to this game, plus the 2K Classic hoops tourney at MSG? I think a free hat was included in purchase. :)

Never saw that...but you can buy all the NYC tickets at your mycuse account.

I believe it ended July 10.

Cheapest ticket is $60 for this I think.
For ND game...yes. It will be up in the 400's. Not great but I sat in similar seats for a Pinstripe Bowl and it is doable.

Just got my 3 tickets today in Sec. 432. Tickets in the nose bleed section are preferable to me for perspective - and cheaper to boot. Probably too cold for the nose to bleed anyway.
I searched the forum and couldn't find anything about a tailgate or SU meet up prior to the game. Any word? Not that we'd crash it; just want to be with those who get it.

I figured we'd just find a bar to take over. Don't believe there's any real parking for a tailgate. The Blarney might be a little far away from the stadium? tptcuse was talking about a few bars he knew of right by Yankee Stadium.

There really aren’t any “good” seats by football standards in a baseball stadium. But yeah, you know from the bowls, you can still see the game. And the stadium atmosphere should be fun. It’s a bar scene tailgate but there are worse fates. And just a few thousand things to do after the game.

You know it’s bad when the end zone seats (bleachers) are better than the 50 yard line seats (a mile from the playing field).

I just hope as a team we’re still relatively healthy.

Chance to support my team in a high profile, nationally televised game against a prestige opponent in an iconic sports venue in the greatest city on earth? Sign me up!

Definition of iconic

1: of, relating to, or having the characteristics of an icon
2a : widely recognized and well-established
  • an iconic brand name
b : widely known and acknowledged especially for distinctive excellence
  • an iconic writer
  • a region's iconic wines. Yes, I would say Yankee Stadium meets those standards.

"Iconic" since 2009... nice try (the old Yankee Stadium... Iconic)

Fair enough, but if you've been to the new stadium, the level of detail they incorporated to honor their history - the facade, monument park, the Great Hall - while enhancing the amenities to meet the expectations of the present are impressive and meet the widely recognized and distinctive excellence tests. At east through my pinstripe colored glasses!

I wanna say that the official SU pregame spot before the last Pinstripe Bowl was Billy's, but I could be wrong. We pre-gamed at East End Bar & Grill on 87th street where we watched an SU bball game, so we didn't make it up to the stadium until game time.
