Notre Dame Tickets

Wasn't there some sort of ticket package being offered a while ago where you could buy tickets to this game, plus the 2K Classic hoops tourney at MSG? I think a free hat was included in purchase. :)

Yes there was I bought all of mine at that time, but only offered to select customers. I got an email with the details of the offer.

For those with tickets through SU, what are some section numbers for your tix?

You can buy tickets through SU...call the box office. A lot of us are in $100 seats down by the 3rd base foul pole.

<Why we can't have nice things>

Attitudes like this.

Since you appear to be independently wealthy and flush with expendable cash, maybe you could loan me 1k so i can take the family to this iconic venue... I'm good for it... I promise

The bottom line this is a Notre Dame home game. Yankee Stadium is their idea. I'm treating it like a once in a generation good deal where SU Football and Basketball lines up so perfectly to create great value.

From your name...I assume you live in Clifton Park. You could have bought $60 tickets through SU, drive and park at Beacon Train station and ride the MTA train rdtp on Saturday. Long day but doable for a lot less than $1000.

Thanks Mark. I'm looking forward to this one.

Just grabbed two through the box office. FYI, they're moving through their inventory and have only three of the original five price points still available.

I took the $100 bleacher seats -- from there they go to $175 and $200.

Kinda a no brainer...our allotment will sell out soon. Honestly I think the $100 tickets are the best bang for the buck.

I was disappointed at first since I had planned on a trip to South Bend to cross an item off my bucket list, but with the basketball - basketball - football - football combination it will be quite a weekend. (BTW, keep it quiet. Wife doesn't know about the Giants game yet!)

I went for the $125 seats right above the Audi Club. Higher than the $100 seats but much closer to the 50. I think the vantage point will be a significant upgrade.

Hopefully SU does most of the scoring towards left field.

I was in the Audi Club for the Pinstripe Bowl game against WVU. Sat inside in the warmth enjoying the gourmet buffet and open bar then when the action moved to that end zone I put my coat on and went outside in the small outdoor pavilion. Think I was out there for all but one TD and at least one safety on Geno.

I think CuseTroop will be there. You will be his handler.

I do live in Clifton Park and I intended to go to this game (if in South Bend) ... $$$ wasn't the issue... If it stayed in South Bend, I could of justified the trip to the boss as a "bucket list" event... Yankee Stadium not so much (even with its iconic status)

I think the majority of us wanted to check out South Bend (Besides the ones who've been thrown out of the stadium before ;)) I was bummed out when they switched it at first, and probably wasn't going to make the trip for it. But man, once they announced that it lined up with the two basketball games, it really turned into a "cant miss" for most.

I'm not sure why people are hating on other people being excited for this trip. If you don't want to go, don't go lol. Why jump in a thread full of excited people, and go negative Nancy on us?

Not sure when I was "hating" on those excited people who are going... But, whatever... Have fun (I'm sure you will)

Meh, I'm just in a mood today. Probably our last nice day of summer, and I'm stuck in the office lol.

I think it's mainly people just hating on watching football in Yankee Stadium. Part of me wished that if it HAD to be moved, it was moved to Metlife, but now that I think about it - I paid more for tickets at MetLife, it was in freaking NJ, and the lobby bar at the hotel across the street was horrrrrible. But, we could tailgate, and it was an actual football stadium. Idk. I missed both Pinstripe bowls, so I'll get to check off "football game in Yankee Stadium" off my list.

Ahh I'm not worried about having fun, I'm worried about remembering it.

don't forget Bruce on Saturday night.

Hope ND gets pounded a few times early, watch the resale ticket prices tumble.

Well, that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen! I couldn't keep him from getting arrested in the Bahamas and I've lost a step since then!

It'd be nice if there was a Syracusefan.com pre-game meetup site. It's always hard for me to make it over to the Fine lot to tailgate since I'm usually running my own tailgate. Would be easier if everyone met up at a bar near Yankee Stadium.
