JD provided answer to one question I wanted asked. Scheme is for one wing player to hang back , only one to chase ball into opposing end. Had noticed that and wondered. Other answer was answer to direct question on violations, clear that coach was frustrated by the calls that were imperceptible. Interesting comment that off season camps are further along to new faceoffs than college staffs. Given so many shutdowns and shortened prep due to covid, one would think that NCAA wouldn't change faceoffs in the midst and reffing wouldn't be so absurdly stringent at this stage of learning and adjusting.
