Just to be clear, people are watching less linear network TV. Meaning, less live broadcast and cable programs.

But in the macro sense people are watching more TV than ever, but that includes on demand programs via cable, Netflix, Hulu, etc.

It’s a distinction with a difference.

MMOD streaming has always been pretty paltry after the first weekend. It’s the Thu/Fri daytime work crowd that drives it.

I just meant TV in a broad sense. Tons of TV viewing is happening, just not in the traditional way.

When we play my adrenaline kicks on when we played the 9pm games I was fine. When you have no dog in the fight 930 is too late.

I would love that idea, but Friday night is the worst night of the week for TV. There is a Wikipedia article entitled "Friday night death slot."

The first 2 season of X-Files were Fri. night. It survived and go moved to Sunday night from season 3 onwards
