I say do the ceremony! It's close enugh Boeheim can still feel it from 1000. Plus, it will give reporters at least the opportunity to mock the NCAA, and/or remind less informed sports fans that JB indeed has 1000, like Special K.

Question will be what kind of coverage does it get? Obviously the 1000 coverage was severely muted by the odd scenario. But winning 900 should be the biggest story in college basketball when it happens. Probably will be treated just as a footnote though.
