Now that GMac is HC, what does next year's squad look like?

My hunch is that SU would not be in the business of literally pulling someone's scholarship.

What's most likely is that Gerry would tell the player that he doesn't have a role on the team, will not be on the team, thus will not receive any direct compensation from SU, and is welcome to stay enrolled at SU if he'd like to remain a student.

No athlete is going to take a coach up on that offer, so he'd leave.

Most scholarships, if they still call them that, are for only one year but can be renewed. School can give 2 year ‘ships but I doubt SU does that. So not sure there is a need to “pull” a ship.
