That's a good point, JOC.

I find this part confusing:

How does the NCAA identify or define the term "agent"?

An agent is any individual who, directly or indirectly: (a) Represents or attempts to

represent an individual for the purpose of marketing the individual's athletics ability or

reputation for financial gain; or (b) Seeks to obtain any type of financial gain or benefit

from securing a prospective student-athlete's enrollment at an educational institution or

from a student-athlete's potential earnings as a professional athlete.
Wonder if family members etc qualify? I could see an absolute mess if there are no true rules. Multiple people could contend to be the real player’s agent, deals could be made without players’ consent possibly etc. Hopefully the colleges have their own legal representation to protect themselves and even the player. I don’t know if I’m interpreting this all correctly - seems wild.

I think that family member representation is an exclusion to the certification requirements.

Devo has over exaggerated almost everyone. He’s only guessing. No one in their right mind will give Freeman $3 million dollars. He wasn’t even all league in the ACC. You give that kind of money to an all conference player.
It is up to GMAC to decide if he wants to take the risk with Donnie Freeman. There is talent but there are also injuries plus uninspired play. Does GMAC want him on his team?

Remember that GMAC and Red are pretty close. Probably talked a lot about Donnie. What would Red say about Donnie? Would he want him at Virginia?

I was very concerned about the offense/ style of play and not wild about the idea of brining in siena players, but IMO the OC hire was a homerun based on offensive production, where Daly's been the first commit is outside of what would normally be the overton window for how syraucse operates and reflects a more modern approach to the game/roster building Plusses so far.

This is very likely a Brunt commit but Daly is a great hire.
