No one is saying they had to land a Bidunga, but adding a really good high-major player to this roster would be a great way to let Gerry hit the ground running.

No one is saying they had to land a Bidunga, but adding a really good high-major player to this roster would be a great way to let Gerry hit the ground running.

Who then? Splash has become a cliche at this point. Is it about the name and rank or the actual impact? I liked Wilkins a lot but a rail thin PG who takes Judah like shots( watch some regular season games) is more name than impact. Past Furman PGs flopped at this level.

I get the point at a general level but there just aren’t that many kids in the portal who have jump off the page talent that’s worth only having 6 guys you can count on plus filler. It’s an underwhelming portal class top to bottom which either bodes well for parity or means even more ranked matchups that are blowouts like last year.

devo was even adamant about it. he spent 2 seconds to say he might go get 1-2 splash guys then proceeded to say "but" and went on for a couple minutes speaking positively about what the plan is. you're making a big deal out of a nothing burger.
