Rutgers has been again been relegated to also ran status as a presence recruiting in New York State, reduced to taking the scraps Syracuse has left behind.

They just took Chris Laviano, a borderline D1 prospect at QB from Long Island that Syracuse passed on.

To be truthful, we are in the same situation recruiting New Jersey. At least for a little while longer.
