NYC Fan

It’s NYC.

You know, some people might know a guy who knows a guy, who could make those dudes ahead of you have some sort of “accident” that interrupts their streaks.

“Nice knees ya got there.
Be a shame if something bad happened to them.”
:p
Tonya? Is that you?

I appreciate all the kind words -- thank you! I apologize for the delayed response but was out celebrating with a bunch of friends in the city last night that had come in to watch the race. I must say that yesterday was extremely challenging (particularly the last 6 miles). It took me 5 months to recover from the broken leg in late March so only had 2 months to train (off a 0 base), so it was basically starting from scratch. My main goal this year was just to finish, to keep the streak alive (now 32). The NYRR updated their Streaker 15+ link on their website this morning and I moved up 5 spots this year due to other "streakers" not participating. I am now one of 29 people in the world with a current consecutive streak of 32+ NYC Marathons.
You’re amazing my man!

As you know, I feel your pain more than many.

Although I’m glad that never included a broken femur.

Yikes! Can’t even imagine. What you just did is an incredible athletic feat.

Just saw a guy wearing his NYC Marathon medal and said congratulations. I then told him about nycfan finishing his 32nd consecutive and the guy said it was his 36th straight. Should I have offed him to help out our board luminary?

I’m wondering why you didn’t.

I didn't want my daughters, who were with me, to witness it.
