Sounds like a case of he will never get the respect so why bother trying to hard?

do you think he deserves it right now?

I tried to be a knicks fan - but he really makes the team unwatchable at times. He almost never looks like he cares.

2 things that infuriate me:
1. the ball literally stops moving when he is in the game
2. his rebound and assist numbers are embarrassingly low.

He gets respect. People like Charles Barkley feel he is the best offensive player in the NBA. But, right now he is not playing well and he's clearly out of shape. Pre-injury also. His defense his laughable.

i swear on my life i have seen him play great defense.

but it is only with less than a minute left in the 4th quarter vs a top team or in the olympics.
