I'm sick to my stomach that we lost today, huge missed opportunity.

But I am quite confident we're going to win enough games to go to a bowl, based on what I saw. And it puts some perspective all the hand ringing about how much better Florida state recruits, how much Shrader sucks, colour speed was going to kill us, etc that had been bandied about all week on the forum.

I got no problem eating crow but today was a chitshow on the coaches.
I think we have better talent than the coaches are preparing.

The first quarter offense was awful.
I got zero faith we are going to a bowl.
Florida State is the worst team left on our schedule.

Come on. All week, the board was talking about how we were overmatched from a talent standpoint, how they're 0-4 for record is deceptive, how much speed they have, and now the fact that we lost people are trying to pin on coaching?

Can't have it both ways, we were the better team, and today was indicative of how we're going to play on both sides of the ball against the rest of the competition, we're going bowling and by the way, again, you and I are cool. I'm just really frustrated.

Teams are pressing our WRs and basically saying you can’t get separation.

Shrader scrambled and made some plays. I don’t see that happening every game.
The offense did well today. Sorry but what we did wasn’t like we moved the ball up and down. We scored. I am happy this offense is still not good.

No -- I think that the offense is evolving. As evidenced by the improved performance we saw from Shrader tonight, versus his last start. Without Taj Harris on the field.

And I also keep in perspective that FSU gets top 20 [putting it mildly] recruiting classes every year, and typically fields a stud group of defensive players who end up in the NFL.

So yes, I think that this offense will continue to improve as the season plays out. And I think a team that went toe-to-toe with FSU on the road, and could have won, is going to have an easier time playing teams that don't have the type of athletes that FSU has.

And I believe -- my opinion only -- that Garret Shrader proved a lot of posters wrong, who claimed that he couldn't pass, and that he was extremely limited.

150 passing yards today, against FSU caliber athletes, will be more effective against teams that can't stop the run or defend the pass like FSU can, because they have elite athletes.

our WR were open a ton today.. the issue was we just dont have a deep ball with Shrader.

We scored 30 pts and at worst gave away 7 and really 11. Take 40 all day.

If we progress another 20-40% in the passing game we have an offense again
