Good night to evalute the players strengths and weaknesses, but didn't learn anything we already didn't know. ALot of one on ones, 0 screen plays, and no motion offense yet. None of the freshmen or sophmores wowed me tonight, but thats ok.
Overall it will be fun to watch this team grow the next month.
Can't emphasize enough the youth with Gbinije, Grant, Dajuan, Roberson, BJ, and Patterson. Its going to take time to find their role in the offense.
We jelled when grant ennis fair and cooney were on the court togethe,r but when we got roberson, bj, Patterson, and Gbinije out there not so much.
Ball handling and setting up plays was very rough without ennis tonight. However, I think that will change as this team gains some experience learns how to move withoutfrom the ball, and how to be patient in the halfcourt. Ennis and Fair were our only 2 play setter-uppers tonight, hopefully we can find a 3rd over time its very important to the chemistry of this team.
Wouldn't be suprised to see alot of the same next exhibition, but Cornell we will come out with a buisness look.
