They've put in a ton of work on this case. The only reason these cases can be taken is because of the legal fees, otherwise there would never be complex litigation. It takes a ton of money and resources to sue something with pockets as deep as the NCAA's. There has to be a reward for the risk that they get nothing of they lose.

I'm a lawyer, I realize how much law suits cost. What that says to me is how much will they seek in damages? Gotta add a zero, at least, to the legal bills. That would be half a billion dollars.
