Big get for the Orange. RT @TheRecruitScoop: 2013 Bishop Kearney (NY) PF Chinonso Obokoh informs me he has committed to Syracuse.

Interesting, I thought we would take 3 and at most 4 players in this class, I wonder what our 2014 class will look like. I would love McCullough and d. Johnson though I would think he will be a struggle to get.

Awesome pickup. Obokoh sounds like a four year guy / luxury addition at center who could be a very solid player for us down the road. Class is building nicely so far.

I admit I do not follow basketball recruiting that closely. Read where his teammate Thomas Bryant was also at MM. What is his potential?

My point was we have Cooney, Ennis and Jordan in 014.
We have Grant and Johnson in 014.
and We would have Obokoh, Keita and DC2 and/or Rak in 013. And we are close to Dakari.
Not to mention Fair and Gbinije in 013.

As much as I would like a 5th guy thats alot. Thets atleast grab Jordan though.

Really outstanding news with the recent developments! I'll really be over the top with excitement if Jordan makes it official. The kid looks absolutely awesome and would be a great get! Getting commitments to the Basketball Program is the adult equivalent of gazing at the packages under the Christmas tree when you were a kid!

DC2 could be one and done. Remember he is a year older than a lot of freshman. We'll have a good idea of his draft potential after a few games . Obokoh is good insurance.
